You’ll have to excuse my delay in posting sooner this morning. My son and his wife are here for a few days to celebrate Christmas a little early. We’ve been making lots of memories together.
Last night, my son, daughter-in-law, and hubby pulled out my son’s Nerf guns and had a battle in the house, along with different targets they shot at. I volunteered for baby duty. But once my granddaughter was asleep, I had my son give me a crash course on how to use one of his Nerf weapons. He couldn’t believe that on my ‘bucket list’ is to learn how to shoot a gun. No, I don’t plan to turn into a hunter. My desire to obtain some gun expertise is purely for writing purposes and experience.
This led to a conversation with my daughter-in-law about things on her bucket list. She couldn’t believe I’ve never used nail polish in all my 51 years. She said I need to do it at least once, so here I am after she applied gold sparkly nail polish. When my son saw it, he said, “Mom, that looks weird on you. Don’t ever do it again.” LOL.
What things would you like to still accomplish in your life?
