Lift Me Up, Lord

08 Jun

Lift me up Lord
When I feel I can’t go on.
I feel bruised and battered
By the storms that come along.

I need your touch Lord
Lift me up so I can see your face.
Though the storms continue to blow
Help me feel your peace in their midst.

I want to be your witness Lord
In all I say and do.
Let there be less of me
And more of You.

Even though we face storms in life, we have the assurance that God is always there. How can I be praying for you today?

Love the photo, Jodie! Prayers for this chest cold/cough that has seemed to come out of nowhere would be appreciated!

Father, I pray for healing for Kara. That this cold will pass through her body quickly and that her strength will return. Give her rest and peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Let there be less of me and more of You…Thank you for those words, Jodie! I know I request it too often, but I’d appreciate prayer for these summer classes I’m taking. They’ve shoved 12 weeks into four, and though the subject matter is not difficult, the *amount* of work is intense. Thank you!
