QPQ: Congratulations on the release of your novella, Hearts Tightly Knit! What an exciting time for you.
JW: Thanks, Pegg. It definitely has been a whirlwind the past couple months getting everything lined up. I’ve been blessed to have a loving and supportive husband who helps any way he can.
QPQ: What was the inspiration for your story?
JW: I’ve always enjoyed the thought of either having or being a twin. I grew up with two older brothers, so I longed for a sister to share things with. That got me thinking about what would sway twin sisters to marry after making a childhood vow to always stay together.
QPQ: Your heroine, Ellie, is a great cook and a knitter. How much of Jodie Wolfe is in Ellie?
JW: LOL. I’m definitely not a great cook…just average. As for knitting, I guess you could say I’m experienced. I’ve knitted hats, sweaters, slippers, scarves, dishcloths, baby blankets and I’m not sure what else. Perhaps a little of me is in Ellie. J
JW: I hope readers will find him to be a strong, godly hero who looks to the Lord for wisdom and strength. A man who isn’t afraid to release the hurts from his past and move forward to discover what God has for him.
QPQ: What do you hope your readers will take away from reading Hearts Tightly Knit?
JW: That no matter what difficult situation you are facing, God is waiting to take you up into His loving arms and provide what you need. All you have to do is turn to Him.
QPQ: We look forward to many more books from you in the future, so where can our readers find you on the Internet? (Other than right here on the Quid Pro Quills, of course!)
JW: They can find me here:
Blogs I contribute to: Stitches Thru Time, Putting on the New and of course, Quid Pro Quills.
