You may recall my son was looking for a dog to adopt. You can read about that experience here. After a few unproductive leads in as many weeks, my son found his dog.
Knox is from Castaways, a local pet rescue. The owner of Castaways drove three hours to retrieve Knox and his siblings, and saved them from an awful environment.
A little about Knox…The vet told us that Knox is probably a Brittany Spaniel mix, and is about 10 weeks old. He’s a little skittish, but oh, so funny! A smart fella, too.
Knox is a joy. My son is training him to be obedient, and that’s going smoothly. Knox likes to fetch, play tug-of-war, and eat. But mostly, he loves to walk with my son. As soon as Knox grows into his paws, he’ll be my son’s running partner.
When it’s time for bed, Knox has an interesting habit (not mother-approved, mind you). He lays down on top of my son’s head. That puppy loves his owner!
What a good boy!
Sweet dreams, Knox!
